"The Cougars' vaccine mandate for fans attending events at Gesa Field will begin on Oct. 9 when WSU hosts Oregon State. The program will also require fans to wear masks at all times unless actively eating or drinking, regardless of their vaccination status. "
Yeah, I can’t believe how bad he has done at UW. He helped rebuild that program and all those players are his recruits so he can’t use the “wait for 4 years to judge me when my recruits are seniors” to buy some time.
At a minimum Lake will have to reboot his offensive staff if he is given a 3rd year.
Three weeks ago, this game would have been on a major network channel. Now we get two 0-2 booby teams on the Pac 12 network. I cannot get the Pac 12 network anymore, and most sports bars do not carry it. Wonderful. To add insult to injury, I saw a light go on in the eyes of Washington's five-star quarterback in the second half of the Michigan game. The game is slowing down for him, so I expect Washington to be a much better team when Cal faces them. The Huskies are also expected to have some stud receivers back from the injury list.
Dylan Morris was the number five drop-back quarterback in the nation and the number one recruit from the state of Washington. Just assumed he was a five-star. If not, my bad. But I still say a light came on for him in the second half of that Michigan game. I think Washington will be a different team in two weeks. We shall see...
Now I am really confused. I have the You Tube streaming network, and it does not get the Pac 12 channel. There is a Pac 12 live app, but it is connected to FUBO, Sling, streaming subscriptions that carry the Pac 12 channel. I want to know if there is a one-time way to log into a Pac 12 network game and pay a one-time fee to watch the game. I would pay $10 to $15 easy to watch the Cal-Washington game and be done with it. (But something tells me there will be a lot of Cal games on the Pac 12 network this year).
A safety seems pretty unlikely. After last week, it's much more likely that we attempt an inexplicable 2 pt conversion that gets intercepted and returned for a UW conversion.
While a 2-point safety seems unlikely.. very likely is UW intercepts the inexplicable 2-point conversion attempt, almost run it back for their own conversion but get stripped of the ball while showboating, fumbling it into the Cal end zone where Cal jumps on it, resulting in a 1-point safety.
Cal jumping on it in the endzone would be a 2-point conversion. You'd have to tackle UW in their own endzone in that scenario to get the 1 point safety.
Oh, so you meant a 1-point safety for UW, to give them an extra point. In which case, Cal would need to recover the fumble, exit the endzone, and come back into the endzone where they are tackled. If UW fumbles the ball forward into the endzone and Cal jumps on it, that would be ruled a touchback, no points for anyone.
Clay Helton fired
He was mediocre by USC standards. How did he have a job for so long?
Wow, that was fast.

I think the state of Washington is "considering" masks as mandatory in stadiums ~ seems I heard that somewhere. For those that plan to attend.

TLDR:
"The Cougars' vaccine mandate for fans attending events at Gesa Field will begin on Oct. 9 when WSU hosts Oregon State. The program will also require fans to wear masks at all times unless actively eating or drinking, regardless of their vaccination status. "
Prediction: whichever coach loses this game will be fired after the season.
Lake, likely to be fired.
Wilcox, likely he will not be fired.
man Lake has not worked out at all yeesh
The faceplant was matched only by the arrogance/cockiness of some of the fans on UWDawgpound... and twitter, lol

Wilcox owns UW so despite our struggles I expect another W in Seattle.

Uh... what? I am pretty sure Sam Huard has yet to play.

someone commented previously a trick. Set vpn region to Canada and watch it on Pac12 youtube channel.

There's a Pac12 Network International youtube channel that streams games, but I think you cannot watch it from US. Hence VPN

Sounds like a neat trick and worth testing several days before the game.
Would have been on ESPN, Fox, or FS1 with a 7:30 Kick off. Face it folks, this is the Siberia of College football
I am on the East Coast. The only TV provider that has the Pac-12 Network out here is not a TV provider at all. It's Sling.
Dish is available nationwide. But it's not cheap.
the Bears are gonna win this 7-3
2-0.
Weaver is going to storm the field and snatch a pick-6. Then get escorted out of the stadium for rushing the field as a spectator.
"as a spectator" cuz he doesn't have to be anywhere on sundays
all of our stud LBs were cut prior to season. Sad.
Our culture is better
6-5 after we miss the extra and give up a safety.

I said the "Cal" endzone, i.e. the one Cal is defending. You score in the opposing team's endzone, is how they name them -- I believe.

It's also possible to be awarded Style Points.
