Feels like we’re on repeat here.

In 2021, Cal came with a renewed hope that a surging BRETT JOHNSON would be the man of the hour for a new-look Bears defense. Johnson got injured and that Cal defense didn’t materialize in time.

The Bears don’t have quite those questions in 2022. The last two months of the season, Cal’s defense locked in, playing as well as any of its previous incarnations, culminating in a Big Game smash party.
