The more I think about it, the more I feel the new OC, whoever it is, needs to bring some bodies with him.
Wilcox totally whiffed on Musgrave and his scheme that literally took years to learn. In doing so, he blew his chance to win some games when the conference was down and the schedule was conducive…ie he had Colorado and Arizona on it…now you got Kenny’s ASU & f-ing Utah….
The 2023 schedule looks super tough…if Cal has any shot at a typical Wilcox year (5,6,7 wins), then the O is gonna have to click early. To do that, a QB that’s familiar with the scheme already, like Cam Ward @ Wazzu and Penix Jr at UW, would really frigging help. My fingers are crossed, because while Plummer is tough, a fresh, mobile QB would really help the OL.
Georgia could lose their championship game and they’ll still be in the playoff. Same for Michigan. Should be same for TCU also. Most of these games are pointless.
Cal had that team beat last year, too. They hire a former Cal HC and now they’re in the CFP and we’re in a free fall…dude, this fandom is not for the faint of heart.
Riley said. "And I mean, he was not even close to 50 percent. I definitely thought about taking him out. ... He wouldn't have let me. He wouldn't even let me take him out at the end."
So uhhh where is our superstar OC?
the streets are talking.....some are saying soon
That’s the talk
and talk is ramping up...the sources.....stay tuned

PS congrats to Tedford for winning MWC.
This is all true. Basically the top 3 were set and each team should have probably sat key starters to avoid injury or a targeting call.
Playing for Fresno State, Remigio returned a punt 70 yards for a TD in the second quarter!
Such a Sonny thing to lose like that lol
And to think after being 12-0 they are out of the playoffs.
But they aren’t out and probably will still get in.
Dykes yelling at refs. Must be losing
Sonny now in OT.
Sonny lost. KSU nails chip shot FG in overtime.
Even when he loses, he wins. TCU probably still makes it to the CFB playoffs.

Nope.
Damn Utah. Cal sure could have used that $5-600K that USC would have earned P12 member schools for making the CFP.
Whittingham has built such a solid program in SLC.
Dude is like the Jerry Sloan of CFB, and not just because both coach(ed) in Utah.
He has written the bible on coaching up and winning with 3 star recruits. Hard to replicate the feat however.
Why not FCS games? There are millions of people who want to watch them also.
There are hundreds of thousands of people who want to watch them.

Uh, who’s the coach here?
The coach doesn’t pay Caleb’a salary
Dre day, baby
