Cal under Wilcox seems to have settled into a pattern: underrated at the start of the year, overrated after 4-5 games, then rated about right by the end of the year.

Ron R said that a good season is 8 to 9 wins. Anything less, bye bye Wilcox

Predictions are very much like assumptions…

Stanfurd lost to Hawaii in the last 3 seconds. Bwahahahahahaha!!! They did it with a freshman QB (who was injured) driving the field to set up the winning FG. Stanfurd has a decent running game but a shitty QB.

One of the craziest stats that I read - from Furds own site - is that this game snapped a 20 game drought of no rushing TDs by a Stanfurd running back.

I love the fact that Stanford lost by a game-winning field goal to a Japanese kicker who learned how to kick via Youtube. Talk about adding salt to wound haha.

Micah Ford of Standford is a solid back. If Standford wants any production on offense it will be through Micah Ford and their TE’s. The transfer QB from OR ST is limited in his abilities and looks more like a game manager so far. Jury is still out on the WRs.

Their offense reminds me of Michigan last year: decent run, zero pass. They ended up 8-5, but only because their defense was arguably the best in the country by the end of the season. Furd doesn't have that.

Surprised they went to the air on 2nd & 7 on their final drive.

Yes that was a surprising call when their run offense was really working.

Ford's pass D sucks and their O is so generic

I believe it was Sports Illustrated (College Football HQ on SI) the other day where I read their predictions for ACC.

Cal - overall 5-7 - acc 2-5. with acc wins over Stanfrd and Virginia

Stanfrd - 5-7 - acc 3-5, get this, acc wins all at home - Boston Co., Florida State, Pitt. ???

Stanford wins at home, because their beautiful, giant stadium packed with 100,000 rabid fans is such an intimidating cauldron of chaos for a visiting team to play in.

"Cauldron of Chaos"...you have such a wonderful way with words. ;-)

Thanks, I strive to amusing or at least have some interesting phraseology.

Fantastic. This is the way!!

If I wasn’t a sicko Cal fan, there is no way I could give this program credit enough to finish above .500 until I at least see it first.
