I am sad Jet Thomas only got four carries. Mikey Mathews led UCLA in receiving in this game, but early returns suggest RB Thomas would have had a more featured role at Cal this year.
Mendoza so far is near perfect. Having a Heisman-like game. Only incompletion was a play where his arm was hit while he was throwing. Brady with a receiving TD.
As much as I love the UCLA schadenfreude (and I LOVE it) it’s really not a great situation for our sister school to be in this dire of straights football wise.

Indiana game is ideal example of coming out well oiled against Indiana State. Though I-state does not look as “intense” as Texas Southern.

Always believed, and still believe, he's got some it factor to be a good if not great QB. But hate how he handled himself and Cal.
