The whole team was clicking for much of the game, but Walker was dominating like prime Shaq in there. The team did a great job getting the ball inside, something they can struggle with.
I’ve been critical of Cal’s tendency to force the ball into the post but the passing this game was great and Walker caught and finished everything, even against double teams
The improvement she’s made this season is astonishing
Also Barnes had her breakout game and as a freshman will only get better
Why wouldn't she stay? It's going to be virtually the same team next season with impressive depth. We lose Sakima and Claudia. Add two Aussies (PG Ruby Perkins; Forward Zara Russell), a Serbian post player (committed; signs next month) and we will be looking for a scoring guard and another post from the portal. What's not to love about that team?
Not a question of the details of Cal’s team next year, necessarily. It’s more likely about whether her tremendous upside talent has caught the eyes of the LSU’s, UConn’s and such whose women’s basketball NIL funds are far greater. In other words, it might just come down to money.

Great win!
Playing like they're playing for something, all you can ask.
Wow! They didn't "choke" like the men did last night.

Remember when we used to be able to say that? Now it's just I hope she stays.

My ideal vision does not include twenty turnovers. But otherwise, yes, this checked all the boxes.
