There's a sport that is almost DEFINED by social distancing, for crying out loud!!! But thanks for giving us something to read that has "Cal" in the headline...... Much appreciated.
I finally got hand sanitizer by showing up at the supermarket at 6am......whew!
Everything is up in the air, with some folks saying the stay-at-home order will be in place until June, or maybe later. I think we have to be ready to see the season postponed or canceled.
That's a blow to the dome: football season postponed or cancelled. It seems more likely, given the calendar, that MLB's 2020 season would suffer that fate.
Yeah, MLB is toast at this point. I'm starting to see timelines extending out towards October, so...we do need to be prepared for the thought there might not be football either.
There is a guy on the other site selling $6 toilet paper rolls, so that’s good. Plenty of wild turkeys around, so as long as you are well armed, as an Real American should be, there is a reasonable substitute. Gathering sufficient wild seeds will occupy most of your spare time.
On pondering it further, maybe games will be allowed if no one gets closer than 6' to another fan!
So, Stanfurd was ahead of the times, as it already had, in effect, such a policy.
And players can't touch each other.
if we lose that first game maybe that won't be an issue!
Which would be tough to do on the concourse.
