Give Wilcox 2 years. But please new OC. Next 2 years is when the solid past 2 recruiting classes is start to show up.

I'm glad Wilcox isn't leaving Cal. The grass always looks greener on the other side, and we haven't seemed to be able to get Tedford's moxy back since he left. I think Cal has somewhat lacked an identity since he left. Wilcox is starting to slide into one, with a "Bend, don't Break," Defense and conservative offense. What do you all think of Cal's identity?

I think Wilcox is a great coach, but we definitely need a new Offensive coordinator. Quick Question, what kind of offense would you all prefer to see?

I hope he brings the Georgia offense with him.

Umm, Kenny Dillingham is one of the new fresh minds in college football.

Doesn't bother me. By the time the Ducks job opens again, Cal will have been to the CFP three times already...

Lol someone blabbed too early. From one Georgia man (Interim HC McClendon) to another (adopted).

It will take time to think of Oregon as a defense-minded school but they'll pull in the national 'cruits. Of course, Wilcox would have been defense-focused too.

Thanks Avi. It'll be interesting what happens next with the Cal program.

Honestly, Wilcox probably would have been a better hire if you're gonna go with a defensive minded guy that won't make a leap in <5 years...maybe JW didn't have a good enough plan for the offense?
