Going vegetarian three days a week and being vegetable/fruit forward on the other four days. My heart's plumbing ain't getting any cleaner and is going to be the thing that kills me, so I better quit kicking the problem down the road. Damn you meat, why did you have to be so dang delicious?
I've ben off meat since 1996 (still eat fish) and don't miss it a bit. Meat production is a leading cause of global warming. I also find the slaughter of pigs morally indefensible. Pigs are smarter than dogs and have good memories.
I don't think they ever stopped pouring pints, their use of mixed systems can be confounding (your serving in a pub can be imperial or metric depending on what it is)
You're probably right, but I seem to remember Nigel Farage making a lot of noise about how he would "defiantly" continue to drink his beer in pints no matter what those bureaucrats in Brussels said.
I can deal with the cold. Just not big on the wind we’ve had the last couple days. Forecast is looking like some good accumulating snow Sunday night into Monday. Noon news just said around nine inches possible.
I had only been hearing about a small amount until I got back from my morning run and all of a sudden all the forecast models are up there. I think tomorrow night is nothing but Sunday/Monday could be something.
A crazy and exciting game. Got to hand it to the Devils for the Scattebo pass trick play then to Texas for converting its own fourth and thirteen with the game in the balance.
ASU really blew it on 4th and 13. IMO the blitz there (especially out of a time out) was an ill-advised call that Texas picked up easily, and then the safety totally blew his coverage by letting a WR get behind him in the end zone.
Then of course there was the always inconsistent "targeting" rule not being enforced; ASU could have won on that too.
It was an unusual pleasure to watch him and Ashton Jenty in the same year. Had Travis Hunter not also happened, either one of them would have won the Heisman if the other was in another year's class almost any year.
I read that Trump’s pick for National Security Advisor went off about securing the border when asked about the events of the last couple days. From what I’ve also read the two suspected in the events were U.S. born citizens members of the Army. Hmm.
I also see Biden is giving Liz Cheney a Presidential Citizen Medal. That should go over big in Republican circles.
One disreputable rag has reported that the person who rented the Cybertruck trained with the New Orleans terrorist. May be fake news. May be a wild coincidence. May be related.
Do you have any intentions for the New Year?
I decided to start unsubscribing from email lists I don't want to be on rather than ignoring and deleting them.
WFC is not one of those.
Try to get thru it.
Managed to pull it off the last few years.

Read labels carefully. Many vegan substitutes for meat and dairy have higher saturated fat than the foods they replace.
A non-metric measurement that is common used in a country that uses metric
Hands as a measure of height in horses. One hand is now standardized as 4 inches.
Measuring my hand...
Brits use “Stone” as a measure of weight.
Brits are back to pouring pints rather than half liters now that they're out of the EU

My personal favorite is that they sell gasoline in litres but quote car efficiency in miles per (imperial) gallon

these forecasts have a wide range from "dusting" to "a foot," the second would add a little chaos to Monday and Tuesday for sure

But at least we finally got a good playoff game!
Don’t forget the missed field goals.
Yes, though Texas helped with some of their own.
Were those the same officials that called the Miami v. Cal game?
I can't believe ASU came back to make it a game. They looked out of it early.

The disreputable rag got it wrong. The two terrorists were at Fort Bragg, but did not overlap.
