Not as bad as forecast. After most of the snow from two weeks ago finally melted we got maybe an inch yesterday. Had to pay close attention to where I placed my feet because of some overnight icing but temp and wind were no problem. Another couple days of below freezing before we get back near normal.
In a familiar scene between the two sides, the Clippers knocked down shots early and often, putting the Lakers in a hole early. Despite a fake comeback in the second half, the Clippers held a comfortable lead throughout and won 116-102.
Sometimes you run into a team that is just having one of Those Games. Even the worst teams are capable of having Those Games. The Washington Wizards squad that the Golden State Warriors hosted on Saturday night, despite being an NBA-worst 6-34, are even capable of having Those Games. Earlier this year, the Wizards ended a 16-game losing streak by comfortably beating the Denver Nuggets of all teams. One of Those Games.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (AP) Marta Suarez scored 16 points with nine rebounds, Ioanna Krimili and Lulu Twidale each hit four 3-pointers and finished with 14 points apiece on Sunday and No. 18 California beat Wake Forest 67-55. SPOKANE, Wash. – California track & field closed out its opening weekend of competition with another successful day at The Podium, earning six victories and another trio of program top 10s at the Spokane Indoor Challenge.
Saw a guy at Safeway yesterday wearing a Cal knit hat. Gave him a Go Bears and did not get a Go Bears in return but did get a smile and fist pump. I’ll take it.
DAVIS – The No. 5 California women's gymnastics team swept all five podiums on its way to a first-place finish at the Davis Quad Meet Sunday afternoon at the University Credit Union Center. MORAGA/BERKELEY – The California men's tennis team started the dual-match season in fine fashion Saturday afternoon at Saint Mary's, with the Golden Bears routing the Gaels 6-1 at the Korth Tennis Complex, but the teams could not complete the nightcap in Berkeley. After Cal started off strong by capturing the doubles point, the second meeting between the teams was suspended midway through the match with dew from the cold night making the courts slick at the Hellman Tennis Complex. The match was eventually rescheduled to Monday at 1 p.m. PT at Hellman, and play will resume with Cal leading Saint Mary's 1-0.
FRESNO – The No. 4 California women's water polo team continued its perfect start to the season Saturday at the Fresno State Polo-Palooza, fending off the host No. 9 Bulldogs 13-10 before cruising to a 24-8 win over No. 12 UC San Diego to later in the day.

Shrinking (17/19 WB) Apple TV - Jason Segal and Harrison Ford are shrinks. I really enjoy this show. I first saw it when I saw a clip of the neighborhood Karen harassing one of Jason Segal's patients. I think I've got a couple more episodes to go in season 1. Brett Goldstein from Ted Lasso is one of the creators along with Jason Segal.
After watching the last 2 episodes of season 1, I've upgraded to 18/19 or 19/19. Like you said, they've really done a good job on character development. Shocking ending and need to download season 2.

Chiefs still don't score more than 30 points. Chiefs beat the Texans 23-14.
Goff didn't fight hard enough. Lions lose 45-31 to the Commanders.
Goff had an uncharacteristically bad game.
Lamar still can't win in the postseason. Ravens lose to the Bills, 27-25.
I was very happy with this result. As a consequence, I advanced to the next round of our prognostication league's playoffs.
It came down to two plays: the 2 pt. attempt and the ensuing onside kick. Neither helped Baltimore.
