In the 2nd half he started hitting them and in general GT started hitting shots they missed in the 1st half. And we shot well in the 1st half and regressed to the mean in the 2nd half. But we did grind out the win, which when GT took the lead I thought we were going to lose.

This is all great and I'm pumped about the state of Cal football, so this is more a comment about the state of college football:
man, 50 newcomers is an insane number.
And only 2 HS students which is crazy.
The way it says two additional high schoolers, I take that to mean we have other high schoolers who committed earlier but I don’t follow that closely.
Oh maybe that's what it was. I thought for sure we had some, but maybe some re-opened recruiting after Wilcox was fired?
I recall we had like sixteen prior to this that stuck with the Bears, so now its a total of eighteen or so freshmen.
