Good news everyone. I had a dream last night that the football team went 8-4 in 2023 and got a Sun Bowl bid against Texas Tech. This is especially encouraging because all my dreams come true (which is why I have a Pulitzer Prize).

Skimming the 2nd half play-by-play starting at 10:47 remaining -

Wisconsin lead 52-42 with 10:47 remaining.

Connor Essegian (Wisc.) made 9 free throws. Essegian scored 9 of Wisconsin's 12 points (all on FTs) in the final 10:47. Wiscy was 0-14 from the floor in the final 10:47.

Michigan wasn't very much better. Wolverines were 5-16 from the field in the same period and 6-10 from the charity stripe.

Connor Essegian is going to haunt Kobe Bufkin's dreams. Bufkin fouled Essegian three times in the *final 3:25* resulting in 6 points for Wisconsin. Michigan went from being 1 down at 3:25 remaining to losing by 5.
