Steph Curry and the Warriors handle business, destroy Hornets

https://www.goldenstateofmind.com/2025/2/25/24373131/warriors-hornets-recap-scores-steph-curry-draymond-green-jimmy-butler-iii

There are a lot of games on the schedule that the Golden State Warriors should win. Games that, if they lose, you’d be annoyed and frustrated by, and feel almost betrayed over; yet you recognize that even the best teams lose a few of those games each year.

perhaps i am coming around on the Jimmy Butler trade ..

I think I am too. When I first heard it I thought the trade was so bad. But I think Jimmy Buckets is doing the things the Warriors were missing. Someone that can go get a bucket when needed. Wiggins wasn't quite there. Tends to shy away from contact rather than seek it out.

I'm curious to see how Kuminga does with the Jimmy B.

https://www.truebluela.com/2025/2/25/24372803/dodgers-mariners-game-recap

It was another rough day for the Dodgers on Tuesday, as they fell to the Seattle Mariners by a final score of 11-5.

Blake Snell made his first pitching appearance in a Dodgers uniform and only gave up one hit while recording a strikeout in his lone inning of work. Despite getting each hitter behind in the count 0-2, Snell needed 30 pitches to work through the first inning.

Snell is in mid-season form. 30 pitches for 4 batters. UGH. Each of the 4 batters started 0-2.

LAND

Lapland is Finland's northernmost of its 19 regions. It is a sparsely populated, but large in area so it is actually 10th out of 19th in population size (176k in 2021 Census). Lapland's tourism industry tries to market itself as the frozen-tip-of-nowhere winter wonderland with Santa Claus, Reindeer, aura borealis, and ice hotels. However, most Americans probably don't realize that Lapland is landlocked and there are two Norwegian regions that are capping Lapland's northern ocean-facing side - Troms & Finnmark. Troms and Finnmark respectively have triple and double the population density of Lapland.
