The No. 3 California men's swimming & diving team will conclude the season this week in Federal Way, Washington, at the 2025 NCAA Men's Swimming & Diving Championships, hosted by Washington State at the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center.
Coming off its first-ever ACC championship, the Golden Bears look to continue its success at the NCAA Championships after 14 consecutive top-two finishes at the event. The Bears have captured eight team national championships and have finished runners-up on nine occasions.
Bernardo Munk Mesa earned the California men's tennis team's first ACC weekly honor when he was named the ACC Freshman of the Week after clinching recent Cal road wins at No. 6 Virginia and No. 63 Virginia Tech.
Last Friday against the Cavaliers with the match tied 3-3, Munk Mesa won in a clutch three-set performance over Mans Dahlberg 6-4, 3-6, 7-6(5) to hand the Golden Bears a 4-3 victory. On Sunday against the Hokies, the Spaniard prevailed in another tight match over Victor Kimpel 7-6(4), 7-6(7) to secure an eventual 7-0 win for Cal and improve his singles record to 12-9.
California women's tennis senior Jessica Alsola was named the ACC Player of the Week and paired with Mao Mushika to earn the ACC Doubles Team of the Week award, the conference office announced Tuesday. The Golden Bears were honored for their play in Cal's recent victories at No. 2 Virginia and No. 54 Virginia Tech.
The popular Bark At The Park returns to Stu Gordon Stadium on April 5, when Cal hosts No. 6 Clemson in an ACC baseball showdown. First pitch is at 2 p.m. PT. All dogs will receive a Fetch-it Toy and their own ticket for entry into the event.
