NAPA – The California women's golf team improved for the second straight day to close out the Silverado Showdown, posting the fifth-best third round team score to finish in 10th place.
Graduate student Annika Borrelli led the way with a huge performance on the third and final day. The Alamo, Calif. native recorded the Golden Bears' best round of the tournament with a 2-under 70, tied for the second-best mark among all 93 golfers on Wednesday. She finished as the Bears low scorer overall at 8-over 224, tied for 24th individually.
