Ireland/Northern Ireland is a contentious issue only in that it raises the issue of British occupation of Northern Ireland. The whole of the Island of Ireland ought to be one nation, one country, and the UK should have no part of it.

BERKELEY - From competitive success to the whirlwind that is modern intercollegiate athletics, there is a lot to recap in this special video edition of Knowlton's Notes.

I've also found that some folks just don't get his sense of humor. That's fine. Just don't complain about it, okay? Such complaints amount to, "Stop having fun without me!"
LIGHTER SIDE OF LIFE
There are 13 countries and two independent enclaves that only border one other country (by land). Name some without looking it up.
South Korea?
Portugal
Vatican City
Monaco
San Marino
Canada?
Denmark. Maybe Gambia. Oh yes and Pottsylvania.
Two enclaves? Of San Marino, Vatican City and Lesotho, which is not?
I thought Lesotho was independent. I don't know enough about it to say either way.
Singapore, Scotland, Ireland, Northern Ireland
Scotland yes.
Ireland/NI is a contentious issue. Yes or no depending on who you talk to.
Singapore is an island.
Ireland/Northern Ireland is a contentious issue only in that it raises the issue of British occupation of Northern Ireland. The whole of the Island of Ireland ought to be one nation, one country, and the UK should have no part of it.
I don't think Scotland counts because it's been colonized by wankers
Speaking of Scotland, anyone seen or heard anything from DC Trojan? Haven’t seen much from him since the Trump turmoil began. Hope things are OK.
I see him, on Bluesky (bsky.app) from time to time.
I thought i did see a comment from DCT maybe a week or two ago?
Oh wait, I guess Singapore is an island.
UAE, Qater, Bahrain
(wrong, wrong, wrong)
I think Qatar does actually only touch one other country (Saudi Arabia) in the south. It looks like Michigan
UAE touches two countries.
Bahrain touches none because it's purely made up of islands.
You did Worldle today didn't you?
Lesotho, Eswatini, Haiti, Dominican Republic, Papua New Guinea
Yes, except Eswatini/Swaziland
But I thought, when am I going to be back to Haiti?
Eswatini is wrong. Well I'll be...
Sorry, but when I saw "LIGHTER SIDE OF LIFE" I immediately thought of the end scene of Life of Brian.
I'm only a little surprised no one has referenced it.
PRO
Dodgers, Giants, and A's all got a day of rest.

Mdm. Strut likes Wes Anderson films. This one looks amusing. We’ll see it.
Gotta see that.
