Klay has good night in Sacramento after going 0-10 last year in play-in game. at one point in the 2nd Q he hit 3-4 3s in a short stretch, was running the floor, playing defense, etc.

Mavs were up by 20 at half and didnt falter.

bouncing back from being sick and tired last 2 days. going to try to work out or go for a hike. it is sunny, low 60s, perfect day for a spring-y hike in the woods.

my newly minted adult child, said they would come w/ me since it is spring break for them and we didnt make any vacation plans to allow for college decision trips which are now all done.

of all the bad news surrounding Cal football.

Just when it looked like the upcoming season could be a breakout year, the two best running backs leave via the transfer portal and we're suddenly back to middling at best.

At some point you gotta cut bait.

I'll reiterate what I said on another post: I used to look down on people who gave up their season tickets or stopped supporting the team. Now I look at them with a touch of envy. I've had blue and gold coursing through my veins for over sixty years so I'll keep showing up, but they're not getting an extra penny out of me until Knowlton and Wilcox are gone

Yup. I hear you loud and clear.

Pissed that law firms are providing pro-bono work to worthy causes, he is now blackmailing major lawfirms to provide him with free legal services or else the US government will go after them

To combat faking an injury, it is now illegal to go down with an injury after a ball has been spotted. Naturally, the solution is to be better prepared and fake an injury immediately.

Does he want to play for Cal?

Wiata78's avatar

Does he have RB friends who would come with him?

Mark Emmert gets the flack for this new era of football, but I would argue that any other NCAA President would have overseen the same set of evolving conditions and circumstances.

The NCAA, as a cartel, made their own bed of roses, which includes the transfer portal and NIL payments. Now they get to lie in it.
