In a tribute to Willie Mays, A-Rod asks Reggie Jackson a question about returning to Rickwood Field in Birmingham Alabama. Reggie Jackson gives an honest, raw answer. In completely unrelated news, I wonder what the DBDers experience will be like in Auburn, AL.

My father, as a second generation Asian American, encountered treatment like this in California in the 1940s and 50s.
I've traveled to Alabama many times for business, though never to Auburn. If you're with a diverse group, no problem. By yourself, I would just go to a Chinese or Indian or Japanese restaurant. And often be the only Asian person there, aside from the staff. I wonder if there's a modern online version of the Green Book.
