Your bottom 4 least favorite NFL teams

O.Overall's avatar

The entire NFL sucks my balls

Cugel's avatar

Cowboys, Cowboys, Cowboys, Cowboys

HeyStudentsBears's avatar

in the same way i dont have a favorite NFL team, i dont have any serious dislikes either.

even the objectionable ones seem to have their redeeming qualities every so often.

SGBear's avatar

Cowboys, Seahawks, Rams, Chiefs

heyalumnigo's avatar

Cowboys x2, 9ers x2.

HeyStudentsBears's avatar

surprised Patriots are not on this list ...

heyalumnigo's avatar

Now that Brady isn't on the team, they're not quite on the hate list.

Wiata78's avatar

But Tampa Bay should be on the list.

HeyStudentsBears's avatar

what happens when the play in NFC championship vs each other many times over the years?

Justbear's avatar

It's pretty hard to come with that list. I don't have much preference but if I had to choose, Cowboys, Bengals, Browns, Vikings.

Tangtpt's avatar

Cowboys, Patriots, Broncos, Cowboys

Something that people don't understand until they experience it

A total eclipse

Macarolina's avatar

especially in the zone of totality. Are you making plans for next year's event?

SGBear's avatar

I've saw the last one when I drove to South Carolina to see it. It was sublime and hence why it's included on this list. But I think once is enough for me because the cost/hassle is a material consideration.

Macarolina's avatar

Yeah, we got lucky the last one- my sister lived within the zone, and we were due there for a visit anyway. Next year's is drivable for us, and we may camp with some friends. At least we won't be stressing over cloud cover, since we've got one under our belts.

Oski Disciple's avatar

Sex.

HeyStudentsBears's avatar

Violently not getting along w/ a family member(s) that you are otherwise supposed to like.

mom/dad/sister in my case ...

FiatSlug's avatar

Ugh. Sounds like black sheep status. Mrs Slug is familiar with the concept. Very, very familiar. I can empathize just a little as the only family member I had a difficult time with was my step-father (now deceased).

HeyStudentsBears's avatar

Poker

while you can learn the rules and play the game, it does not become real until you start betting $$ that you would like not to lose.

Oski Disciple's avatar

Depression. Impossible to understand if you've never been through it.

O.Overall's avatar

Parenting, which somehow judging by my parents and my wife’s parents, you also forget quite quickly.

Oh and what OD said - sex

sycasey's avatar

That is indeed the thing you can blame for parenthood.

Wiata78's avatar

Death of a loved one.

FiatSlug's avatar

Yup. Experiencing the loss of a loved one as an adult is not the same as experiencing it as a child, either.

Macarolina's avatar

Serious and/or chronic health issues, especially if you "don't look sick."

“Pneumonia.”

Who knew that having previously non-athletic middle-agers suddenly pick up a game with lots of lateral movement would do this?

dcblue's avatar

I am a senior person who still runs 40-50 miles a week and walks another 3-5 miles a day. I can almost guarantee that if I took up pickleball I would have muscle strains from lateral movement, if not worse from falls on the court.

DO NOT drive your truck to the City for a show.

Cugel's avatar

And I didn't!!! My friend drove it, and I gave him shit for taking too high up in gear!

I thought of things! Even ON mushrooms!

CNN obtains copy of audio of Trump evidence. In it, Trump a) repeatedly says that he is holding highly classified documents, b) invites others to look at them, c) says he knows he that he could have declassified them but he can't declassify them at that point, d) orders some Cokes in the middle of bragging, and e) ironically makes fun of Hillary Clinton and her emails when this is going to "lock him up".

I've seen way too much of calls like this year. Initially I was against robo umps calling b/s. The real umps have changed my mind.

Jimmy Chitwood's avatar

Yeah, it’s time…if they have the technology, might as well use it, as the staggering number of impactful missed calls are damaging the game.

This is a reminder from last year what NOT to do when there are 24 seconds left, you're up by 5, and your opponent has to go 56 yards.

Tangtpt's avatar

This was great...I can't fathom what the second defender was looking at during the catch.

sycasey's avatar

Not sure why OSU kneeled on the two point attempt, though.

heyalumnigo's avatar

I'm assuming it was to prevent a fumble on a 2 pt conversion or a blocked kick return.

sycasey's avatar

Yeah, but with Furd still having two time outs left it was probably more realistic for them to get into FG range on their possession.

FiatSlug's avatar

Extra point attempts are untimed downs.

The only thing that OSU could have done to foil a last-second FG would be to convert a 2 pt. try, which would have meant a Stanfurd last-second FG would have tied, not defeated them.

sycasey's avatar

Yeah, I think they should have tried for 2. A turnover on a 2-point try that is actually RETURNED for a TD is kind of a black swan event, extremely unlikely. Meanwhile, Stanford getting the ball at their 25 and getting into FG range with two time outs and 13 seconds is . . . still very unlikely, but probably more likely than that. It's basically getting 45 or so yards in two passes.
