California cross country and track & field have announced the addition of Nicole Matysik to their staffs as an assistant coach, with the Furman graduate set to aid in the development of the Golden Bears' distance runners starting in fall 2025.
"We're very excited to add Nicole to the staff," said cross country head coach Bobby Lockhart. "As we continue to strengthen and build the program, it was important to find a candidate that operates with the tenacity that Nicole displayed throughout the hiring process. Her skillset is vast and her knowledge and methods of understanding athletes and training is beyond her years. She truly is a wonderful addition and we're happy that she's joining the team."
California football general manager Ron Rivera will be part of a panel discussion to discuss the dynamic landscape of college athletics at a special in-person event put on by the Women's Coaching Alliance on Aug. 6.
Rivera, the Cal alumnus who was hired for his new role in March after a successful playing and coaching career, will be joined by new Stanford general manager Andrew Luck in San Mateo at 5 p.m.

This thing has made the rounds pretty much everywhere now.
I know the human reaction is hard to control, but yup, if they'd just calmly looked up and done a little kiss then the video would never have gone public because no one would think to share it.
This popped up this morning for me. Chris Martin saying, they're either real shy or having an affair was on point. He deleted his LinkedIn And the CEO's wife removed "Bryon" from her socials (I think she was using a hyphenated name). And Cabot removed all her info from her linked in.
