I voted Weaver's pick-6. There was something special about the peak Rock Fight era, when you got more optimistic of Cal scoring when it did NOT have the ball.

Me too. Was at the game and it was awesome

Even though I voted for Mike Mohamed, that Weaver pick-6 was really nice too.

Some nerd talks about the physics of Superman vs. Flash

It's amazing how much fairly serious discussion you can find on superheroes. Is Flash or Superman faster? Who is stronger, Thor or Hulk? It's pointless because they're all fictional. But, it is also fun. Somehow of reminds me of discussing Cal Sports.

Funny, many of my NASA colleagues went to the Atacama desert because it is also an approximation of the Mars environment. Cold, dry, thinner air (though not as thin as Mars.)

I've got friends who are indefinitely at the family homestead about an hour west of Athens because her elderly dad wanted to go back to spend the rest of his days. Last I heard from them the wildfires are crazy in the area this year.

At airport after a costly Vegas jaunt…

Chitwood placed a number of NFL Futures wagers…some tidbits - odds were solid on the Titans, so me and Jonesy will be rooting hard for Tennessee and newly signed D’Andre Hopkins to win the AFC South.

And if McCaffrey stays healthy for 16 games and sets the NFL record for TDs in a 2000 total yard season, en route to capturing the NFLMVP award, look out.

I think that's pretty accurate. I struggled through season 1. The acting was not great and the script wasn't great. Apart from general chaos and one woman who was looking for her daughter, there was no story arc - just bumble about and try to survive.

Again DBD is buried deep in the bowels of the WFC archive. This is travesty. It's a travesty of a mockery of a sham of a mockery of a travesty of two mockeries of a sham. Furthermore it's an outrage, an outrageous outrage. It's inexcusable, unforgivable and can be neither forgiven nor excused. Heads must roll.
