Who brings an infant to a pro tennis tournament?

Apparently, a tennis junkie.

What gets me is that whoever brought that infant to the stadium didn't excuse themselves from the crowd and respond to the baby's needs. I guarantee you that child was either a) hungry, b) needed a diaper change, c) had the cranks/is tired, or d) is overstimulated by the environment.

Ballers just sent an email:

Wed. 8/20 is Cal DAY: Raimondi Park becomes Bear Territory as the Ballers welcome Cal students and alumni.

Members of the California Golden Bears Football team will be in the house and we’ll be raffling off tickets to one of their games. The Cal Football season starts this month and their first home game kicks off on Saturday, September 6th.

The Oakland Ballers and California Golden Bears are here holding it down for our respective sports in the East Bay and we’ve got your backs.

Ballers are 57-16. 57-16. Does this mean their players shouldn't be in independent ball? Should they be in a higher minor league level? Is it coaching? Something in the water in West Oakland? Is it coaching?

Dodgers’ skid to Angels reaches six games, lose 7-6 in walk-off fashion

https://www.truebluela.com/dodgers-scores-standings/101412/dodgers-angels-game-recap

The Dodgers battled hard to regain the lead in the ninth inning, but the Angels came back to tie it in the bottom of the ninth before walking off the Dodgers 7-6 in a 10 inning affair on Tuesday.

Old friend Tyler Anderson was originally supposed to start the middle match, but the southpaw was a late scratch, and right-hander Victor Meredos made his first big league start. It didn’t begin well, as he walked Shohei Ohtani and plunked Mookie Betts to put two men on with nobody out.

Former Cal commit and ex-Oregon State QB Ben Gulbranson has been named as Stanford's starting QB over sophomore and former 4-star recruit Elijah Brown. Regardless of who starts, Stanford can probably look forward to a 60% completion 1:1 TD:INT type QB. This may not be a good year for Stanford, but Big Game is always a dog fight.

I'll go for stupid and a liar, SGBear.

What strikes me about this is that he's claiming we just don't know that it's an inside joke with a teammate. This is the equivalent of an abuser telling his target to "calm down". This also strikes me as similar to uttering the word "bomb" in an airport, though not nearly as serious in that no one's safety is apparently at risk.

It'd be funny if it didn't call into question his integrity and intelligence.
