It's maddening to have a whole discipline based upon "do everything in a very exact, precise manner" but then everything is add more/less of something depending on conditions, knead/proof/bake it until it's enough but not more than enough. It seems like a discipline you have to mess up a LOT on in order to get enough experience to know what works best.

Obviously late today. Awake until 2pm last night doing home work. Up at 6 am to do work and get ready for baking class. Man, I suck at baking.
i am generally very mediocre at baking especially when contrasting w/ being decent at cooking.

as someone posted yesterday, the first one was far superior to the sequel. watched last night to satisfy my curiosity.
Anna Kendrick was pretty good in this movie too. i forgot or didnt appreciate that she was in it.
