I left for my baking final at 6:30 am and thought I had a DBD queued up. Nope.
Got an A on the written and an A in baking eclairs and an apple pie today. They're sitting in my kitchen now awaiting me/wife to consume mass quantitites.
i was looking for it early in the day. however, you do take on the task of keeping us entertained and connected every day and today i realized how much i appreciate you for it
Are the Yankees going to lose and get knocked out?
It kind of is unfair for the AL teams that they didn't get an extra day off. The NL teams got an extra day off between games 1 and 2 because they wanted all DS games to start on the same day but then alternate without an off day.
After suffering its first loss since August, the California women's soccer team is back home at Edwards Stadium for a tough pair of matches. The Golden Bears face No. 1 Virginia on Thursday and a Virginia Tech team that was a preseason top-15 selection Sunday. Thursday's match marks the team's ACS Breast Cancer Awareness game and Sunday is Senior Day.

[FB] Sagapolutele, Ferrelli Added To Alexander Award Watch List
California freshmen Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele and Luke Ferrelli have been added to the Shaun Alexander Freshman of the Year Award watch list, the Maxwell Club announced Tuesday.
Sagapolutele, an Ewa Beach, Hawaii, native, has thrown for 1,487 yards and nine touchdowns through six games this season for the Golden Bears. Sagapolutele has been named the ACC's Rookie of the Week two times through six weeks of play.
Omar Yaghi, a Jordanian-American chemist at the University of California, Berkeley, was awarded the 2025 Nobel Prize in Chemistry today, sharing it with Richard Robson of the University of Melbourne, Australia, and Susumu Kitagawa of Kyoto University, Japan.
The scientists were cited for creating “molecular constructions with large spaces through which gases and other chemicals can flow. These constructions, metal-organic frameworks, can be used to harvest water from desert air, capture carbon dioxide, store toxic gases or catalyze chemical reactions.”
Yaghi is the 28th UC Berkeley faculty member to win a Nobel Prize and the fifth winner in the past five years.
...aaaaand I'm going to call it now. From the Dead Wrong in Public Dept.: North Carolina will defeat Cal on Fri., October 17 at Cal Memorial.
This reminds me a lot of the time Cal hosted Arizona at Memorial Stadium in 2002. John Mackovic was Arizona's coach and was under a lot of heat from his players. He had an emotional news conference in the week leading up to the game vs. Cal. Arizona players rallied and beat Cal, 52-41.
The donation comes from former Stanford football player Bradford M. Freeman, who graduated from the school in 1964 and has been a major Stanford donor for decades.

Dude. We're going to run out of parking spots.
Too bad I’m not smart enough to understand any of the work these Nobel winners do.

Steve Belichick is absolutely guaranteed a win against us. This is the trappiest trap game that ever trapped.
I already called this last Saturday or Sunday when I said that Wilcox is saving his head scratching loss to a terrible team for UNC.
Bonus points since I’m flying up with some friends and my wife to watch this game in person at Memorial
a road win against the mighty Golden Bears should help quell some rumors, methinks.
