Going to be an interesting start to the season for the Warriors. See if Kuminga fits better. See if De'anthony Melton has healed enough (guessing he ramps up very slowly). See how well Al Horford will fit in and how much playing time he'll get. See if TJD can get some playing time. See if Q can continue his rise from last year. What about Will Richards.
Lots of questions. Even though a sim of the season had the Warriors the #1 team out of the west (don't even understand how that happened), I'm guessing they'll be 7-10 seed again.
Imma say the Lightning Bowl where we stood almost no chance at beating UW due to our hapless offense and how we joked about how being on defense was our best chance of scoring points
I think I'll have to agree with this. Though they did end the season wiht a 5-7 record. Texas ended up 5-7. Ole Miss wasn't very good in 2019. UNC ended up 3-9 in 2017.
The road win @ UCLA in 1991 we were actually higher ranked than UCLA at the time.
I just meant that the teams we've upset on the road (games we've been to) didn't end up being great teams. And I didn't remember that we were better than UCLA at the time we beat them.
The California men's soccer team heads back to the East Coast this week for a nonconference game at Radford on Wednesday and an ACC clash at Virginia Tech on Sunday.
California volleyball senior Mikayla Hayden picked up her first conference honor Monday as the ACC named her its Defensive Player of the Week after standout performances against No. 14 and Florida State. Hayden is the second Golden Bear to earn the award this season, following junior libero Sophia Johnson (Sept. 29).

Hey, Yankees, since it's October and you're not using your stadium...

NBA season starts tonight. among other games Lakers host Warriors 700p PT.
i guess the only other game is Houston at OKC.
Lakers favored to win. i suspect that given the Warriors advanced age, they are going to have a hard time winning the hard games.

World Series Game 1 starts in Toronto on Friday at 5 PM PDT.
Does Toronto get Drake to perform pregame and then LA counters with Kendrick Lamar?
Now THIS is October baseball. Chills.

I was rooting for Seattle to make it, but if someone has to beat LA then Toronto will do.
somehow i thought game 7 was today. oh well. too bad for the long-suffering Mariners.
It had to be the cheater...

That was a terrific series. The Mariners played great.
What was Cal's finest road upset that you remember?

2009 Big Game
2007 Oregon
last year vs Auburn was pretty great.
i am guessing we were underdogs in Texas when we won by 1 point since the UT missed the extra point to tie the game.

i picked only from games that i have been to. i am sure there were plenty of games that were exciting and good otherwise
Oh I just realized SGB said remembered not been to...

Good thing the new ballroom won’t interfere and won’t be touching the White House.
