Dodgers explode to beat Padres 5-1 after going hitless for half the game. San Diego manager gets tossed for pointing out the Dodger bias was a little too obvious. Hard to argue against his point given that the plate, who has a scouting report of a liberal strike zone, missed at least a half dozen called strikes in on half inning, based on K-zone and replays of it.
Dodgers got another strong but brief start from Walker Buehler. LA has won his last 3 starts post-blister, but some time soon they are going to need more than 65 pitches from him.
They have starting pitching, bullpen pitching, good defense, power, contact hitting, good base running, and interchangeability. Hard to beat them in all those areas at once.
Their key is to not swing at pitches outside of the zone. Wear down the pitchers. I voted no. I understand that perhaps a plurality of part time giggers may be for it, but overall it's very bad for worker protections.
Journalists, musicians and some other professions who are traditionally freelance have already been exempted from AB5 via the legislature.
