What a complete defensive breakdown on the winning ally-oop! For the Cavs, though, Jaylon Tyson had nine points, nine rebounds, three steals and a block, with zero TO’s in this game. Nice to see him emerging as an important contributor.
It only took about 24 hours for GOP to break promise to Democrats who broke with leadership. Whether they counted on that happening or not is another thing
Not the first time for Mike Johnson. A continuing resolution back in March made the DC government budget revert to the prior year meaning DC could not spend $1 billion of its own tax revenue. Within days the Senate voted to correct that. Mike Johnson said the House would take it up but shortly after went on vacation and never did. He will only allow a vote if his puppet master tells him to.
Well, it's worth noting that the deal was with SENATE leadership, not House.
I still think it was dumb for the Democrats to basically fold while Republicans were feeling maximum pressure from the public, but it's not surprising. It's in their nature to do that.
Flying home from Louisville this afternoon through Houston. Hopefully my flight isn't delayed. They weren't yesterday so fingers crossed. However, No 3 is flying back from Richmond, Va and we're meeting at the airport. Also hoping his flight from RIC to IAD isn't delayed enough (only 45 min yesterday) that he makes his connection.
His flight gets back, hopefully, 1 AM so I'll hang out at SFO for 3+ hours until he lands. Unfortunately it's too late for BART to Millbrae BART where we parked so we'll have to Uber to Millbrae Bart parking

That's a drag. But I suppose it was worth it to see that game in person.
It definitely was!
