My company’s travel department asked everyone to put in their travel profile if they preferred aisle or windows. I told them for short flights, I like a window seat for the view, but for long flights, I like an aisle seat so I can get up easily.
Glenn Dickey, a longtime sportswriter and sharp-tongued columnist for the San Francisco Chronicle for more than 40 years, has died.
Just two months shy of his 90th birthday, Dickey died in Oakland on Friday after having battled an illness for several years.
Though he retired from writing his column nearly 20 years ago, Dickey’s Sporting Green legacy endures through his brutally honest, influential style that made his writings must-read in the Bay Area for decades.

They didn’t know how to deal with that answer.
Once upon a time I preferred a window to watch the view below. Now I prefer the aisle to be able to get up and stretch periodically.
Tells you it wasn't a serious request, just an outreach check box. Also tells you much more, and it isn't positive.
Same. Narrowbody? Window seat. Ten hour flight on a widebody? Give me an aisle seat in the middle so fewer people are climbing over me while I sleep.

I saw Glenn walking towards CMS, I think it was the Tennessee game in '07. I gave him a "Go Bears!" and he returned the favor.

GO BEARS!
WEATHER
Every single day since Thanksgiving the high temperature has been below normal. Today we may get close and tomorrow will probably get a little above.
