Watched Jack Ryan: Ghost War (15/19 - Prime). Was entertaining and had action. Alright story. John Krasinski, Wendell Pierce, Michael Kelly, Sienna Miller. I kinda wish they did the series instead of a movie, but I get that it's cheaper to do a movie.
They were going to spinoff the Domingo Chavez character with Michael Peña but I guess they didn't do that.
Made some Orvieto chicken salad last night so will probably eat that. Going to try to take the Spirit of Ethan Allen boat tour this afternoon and then grab food downtown. Maybe a burger on the water.
Apparently if not enough people sign up they can cancel the boat. HOWEVER, there is a wedding on board the 4 PM one so they are going out for sure, even though they are well below the min numbers. So, guess I'm crashing a wedding!
I remember I asked d$ for a ride to the airport (which was super nice given Albany was like an hour away) and we met up with you for lunch beforehand.
Actually the first time I met d$ was quite a story. I was driving cross country and he was at CU. So he said his Ultimate team was having an end of the season dinner so come on by at the house of their advisor (?). It was a fun dinner. The advisor asked if I was spending the night in Boulder but I said I was going out to Cheyenne. They were recently empty nesters and she said I could take one of their kids' rooms if I wanted. I thanked them but said I wanted to get as much driving in after dinner as I could.

Apparently, there's something called Breeze Airways that flies direct from Albany to North Carolina. If that airline still exists this winter, I really should try to go to UNC/Duke.
Giants legend Will Clark made his thoughts on San Francisco's outfield celebrations crystal clear.
After some of San Francisco's recent wins, its outfielders, oftentimes including some combination of Jung Hoo Lee, Drew Gilbert, Harrison Bader and Heliot Ramos, would come together after the final out and perform a coordinated celebration in center field.

Speaking of cycling, I just read that American Sepp Kuss won the stage of the Giro. I’ve been disappointed because once the French Open started they are showing tennis instead of cycling on TruTv.
bummer. i usually watch the cycling on dedicated cycling channel. cant remember if it is FloBikes or HBO that it is on.
Sepp Kuss is a grand tour winner (the Vuelta a couple years ago). he usually gets the short end of the stick having to do all the hard work for the super-champs like Roglic and Vingegaard

nice. maybe you can get some good free food and drink at the wedding
meeting DBDer's IRL
I guess meeting on zoom doesn’t count, but it was nice to meet several DBDers on zoom during the pandemic
I forgot about that. tbb set those up.
stopped for dinner in Albany on the way home from VT and had a beer w/ NewAlbany. great to see people for real.
Such a treat!
BTW, I remember the first time I met a DBDer IRL...
D$ was living in Western Mass and we met up in Troy to watch a Cal game.
Dr. Ms. Newellbany was like, "you're going to watch a Cal game with someone you met on the internet?" Well, when you say it like that...
I remember I asked d$ for a ride to the airport (which was super nice given Albany was like an hour away) and we met up with you for lunch beforehand.

Will Clark seems like he and MadBum and Brian McCann all get mad at hitters for admiring long HRs.
West Finals going to game 7 tomorrow night. i guess i was wrong about OKC sweeping thru the playoffs
now i am starting to have some hope that the Knicks can at least be competitive in the Finals
This series is a heavyweight bout, and it HAD to go seven games. Saturday's game 7 is appointment viewing. Both teams will be bringing it.
I think this game is for the championship.
