Went to Brazil Japan game. It was 90% Brazil fans but it was fun sitting in the Japan section right behind the goal. Two unfortunate things happened.
One, Japan lost. Two, I dropped my phone when I clapped my hands at the kickoff and it fell through the crack in the bleachers all the way to the bottom of the stadium. Luckily I was able to retrieve it about an hour after the game finished, but I was not able to take any pics during or after the game. But maybe that was a good thing. I got to see everything through my own eyes, not through the phone screen.
I remember at the Green Day concert in SF a couple of years ago two teenagers in front of me were watching their phones recording the concert for a few songs. I knew people did that, but like you said, watch it with your own eyes and not through the phone screen.
Yeah that's the reality. I saw a few fans recording too, but most of us were busy cheering the whole game. Japanese fans are relentless in chanting different lyrics.
