I spent a couple of weeks there in 1995. One of the best vacations ever! A very varied geography. Part New Mexico. Part Tahoe. Part Santa Cruz.

Got better at haggling ;-)

Was my introduction to cumin! As the third “shaker” on most tables.

Spouse and I had a great trip there in the 2000’s. We used a tour company called Intrepid, who specialize in somewhat roughin’ it itineraries. We rode on camels into the desert, visited scores of ancient medinas, ate lots of taglines and cous cous, and watched amlou being produced and textiles being hand-dyed. Morocco is an incredibly colorful place.

it is the most sparsely populated territory in Africa and the second most sparsely populated territory in the world after Greenland, consisting mainly of desert flatlands.

Really gripping game between Germany and Paraguay today! Such a fine line between survival and elimination.

Collin Morikawa had a good week, shot a 61 on Sunday, but came up one short. Still made $1.4 million.

Pogacar going for win #5. everyone else trying to catch him. to be honest, he looks as dominant as ever, so it will take an amazing performance to beat him.
