last night i was streaming YouTube on my TV while doing some work. not sure why i was getting so many ads, but most of them were pro or con for Susan Collins and the ME senator's race.
i guess being in northern VT makes you close enough.
as expected the anti-ads were about abortion and the pro ones were either about business development or trashing the Dem candidate.
The political ads in Georgia have been brutal. They lightened up a bit after the June primary, but have really increased in volume lately. With both a Senate seat and Governor on the ballot, I will be limiting my live tv consumption until Nov. I really hope no runoffs...
Google has a good batch of pics for Lake Burton and Lake Rabun. I especially love the boat houses. Some homes are way over the top, but others not so crazy.
Political stuff goes here

This was hard—first 3 guesses were so empty of correct letters. Wordlebot doesn’t mind this, but I do.

I bought a new gold Oski t-shirt for the Syracuse game on account of both teams wear blue.
Enjoy the game!

i am going to adpot Mountain Day as a "personal day off" on the calendar.
my friend from middle school (who HAG also knows) that lives in Japan says this
> Yes! We also have a holiday (July 20) called Ocean Day too!
i was thinking that perhaps there should be "Ocean meets Mountain" day as well

Mountains, Sea, Lakes, etc
My favs are lakes that are proximate to mountains. Lakes Tahoe and George, specifically.
Shoutout for North Georgia lakes. Smaller mountains, but tons of trees reflecting in the crystal clear waters of a few of the lakes.
never knew about these lakes until today

Nick Sabun's old Lake Burton home I include on the crazy (big) side...
In that case I vote for lake Champlain
