Mark Kendall Bingham (May 22, 1970 – September 11, 2001) was an American public relations executive who founded his own company, the Bingham Group. During the September 11 attacks in 2001, he was a passenger on United Airlines Flight 93. Bingham was among the passengers who, along with Todd Beamer, Tom Burnett and Jeremy Glick, formed a plan to retake the plane from the hijackers. During the struggle, the aircraft crashed into a field near Shanksville, Pennsylvania, preventing the hijackers from reaching their intended target in Washington, D.C., believed to be either the U.S. Capitol Building or the White House.[2]
Bingham's efforts on United Flight 93, as well as his athletic physique,[3] were noted for prompting a reassessment of gay stereotypes.
A meeting of SEC presidents and chancellors Thursday ended without any punishment imposed on LSU.
The conference issued a statement following the highly anticipated meeting, which court records had indicated would "decide whether to terminate Louisiana State University." According to the statement, the videoconference was meant "to discuss recent matters involving conference expectations and responsibilities."

It's an authoritarian move, but also really dumb authoritarianism. Doing this just draws more attention to Kimmel and Talarico and makes the government look weak. That's why previous governments didn't bother messing with late-night comedy shows before.
After Dolly Parton passed away the flags in front of the Kennedy Center were lowered to half staff. They never got raised back to full staff, until today. I went by on my run and suddenly they are back at full staff. As I got home I noticed the flag on the Iwo Jima statue in the park across the street is also at full staff.
They are all supposed to be at half staff. That’s why I thought it fit under Turribl Government. About eight of the office buildings in the nearby business district put huge flags on the side of the building that faces the Pentagon. I’m about a mile from the Pentagon as the crow flies.
