Heading out to Furd this afternoon. My sister has an art exhibit that is opening today. Probably should dress up just a little but (collared shirt), but may put a Cal shirt underneath.
Went with the nobel prize shirt under a Hawaiian shirt. I do have a Tommy Bahama button down short sleeve with a small script Cal shirt I got from TJ Maxx but I figured that might be too much.
TL;DR version. Top Dog's newest location is at 2021 Shattuck Ave, at The BreakRoom, a billiards hall and cocktail bar. This is close to Downtown Berkeley BART on Shattuck Ave. between University Ave. and Addison St.
I feel like these Friday night games are great for national exposure. I know it'll be late on the east coast, but it'll be on TV in every single bar in America. It's got prime time to itself on the west coast. And even in the east, college kids and twenty somethings don't even out go out before 10:30pm on a Friday. It's an opportunity game, for sure.
I'll eat almost anything. Recently when I have a trip I'll go by Berkeley bowl to the bulk section and make my own asian rice cracker snacks. I get some of the regular rice crackers, the ones with the dried peas, some sesame sticks, the japanese rice(?) balls, and other stuff that I don't know what the name is.
What's funny is I made some for my trip to Syracuse and then seattle for work but I didn't end up eating very much of it. Lots of times I break some out as a snack on a flight. This trip I red-eyed out to Syracuse so I didn't eat anything and SGBear and I got food when we got arrived. My flights to SFO and then seattle were shortish so I never really felt like I needed a snack.
For a promotion decades ago, they gave away corn nut seeds, so you could grow your own giant corn. Supposedly 10 feet high or more. Ours didn’t grow, however.

Better than average day for me.
A good day. Couldn’t think of any for the second row that didn’t use one of the letters already used so took what I thought was a long shot guess.

Mine was also pretty lucky (despite the low luck score). Wordlebot said I had 8 possible words, and I picked the right one.

Pro
Have been busy so haven't posted anything.
Dodgers lose. Giants lose to the Twins (4-2).
HAHA..and the Giants claim Camilo Doval.
Really? I hope Doval has matured quite a bit since he was released by the Giants.
Not sure but I don't think he's been very good for the Yankees and the Pirates this year.
Snacks
I can't say no to salty snacks. I can say no to sweets usually, but it's hard for me to say no to salty snacks.
Of the crunchy things, I prefer chips. No pretzels or popcorn for me.

I like to crunch on a pistachio nut. Good snack.
potato or tortilla?
Yes
Mostly potato for regular snacking.
I make my own custom nacho chip by pairing cheddar cheese and tortillas chips. Fun mini appetizer while cooking
I didn't even know Corn Nuts had other flavors

BBQ is the best. A couple of days ago I bought a small Ranch one because they didn't have BBQ. I don't have them that often.
