we first had it in a tiny Ligurian village where we stayed for a week, Apricale.
Liguria is the province where most of the olive oil in Italy comes from and they are famous for (Genovese or Ligurian) pesto.
I haven't had that, we had roasted veggie lasagna on Sunday, very tasty.
Simple, very tasty and healthy dinner last night was broiled salmon topped with pesto sauce. Yum!
