I’m optimistic this is a one off. He got a medical waiver this year for a sixth year of eligibility. Another year would be 7 years of college. He’s from Arkansas and the SEC is going to try to play.

I hope he balls out wherever he goes!

If the ACC/SEC end their seasons before the PAC 12 starts theirs, I wonder if students can grad transfer from ACC/SEC and play in the spring.

Let's hope SEC/ACC cancels the season and Luc withdraws the request to transfer.

I'm really sorry to see Luc go. He's been a great baller and rep of all things good about CAL and CAL football. And he is an anchor on our defense. But I understand his decision and will wish him the best of luck for a very successful season and hopefully a career at the next level.

I'd expect anyone who has graduated already and has pro aspirations to do this. Best of luck to them.

This is a bummer. I wonder if this is due to the season being canceled/postponed.

They have already announced if we have a Spring season that it won't count as a year of eligibility.
