How did Cal shake things up to stop Stanford's bread and butter play?
Stanford brought a limited offense into the Big Game, but to their credit they lean into their strengths. One of those strengths is the running ability of their QBs, particularly Ashton Daniels. Daniels had 8 different designed runs plus a few scrambles throughout the game, almost all of which were successful.
So today we’re going to look at an example of one of those successful plays, and then look at what Cal did to blow up another late QB draw that helped end the game and keep the Axe in Berkeley.
