Cal’s defense didn’t do much wrong on Saturday, but the challenge facing a defense is that the offense can score some points just by hitting on a few plays. Notre Dame got two of their touchdowns from RB routes, and I wanted to take a look at what ND did right, and what Cal did wrong, that helped the Irish get 14 of their 24 points:
