Cal has trouble defending short routes against Oregon

Watching both live and on tape review, the most frustrating aspect of Cal’s blowout loss to Oregon was that it didn’t feel like the Ducks were working very hard to score points. Oregon frequently had receivers running through wide open spaces. Today’s goal? Let’s cycle through a few of those plays and try to figure out what wasn’t working for Cal, and what Oregon did right to rack up so many seemingly easy yards.
