Yes sir, it would’ve been interesting. Easily 3-4 more W’s (v Va Tech, v SMU…maybe either @ Ga Tech and/or ND). Probably finish .500 overall or a little better heading into the ACC tourney and with a different draw.
A real lack of depth and D from the backcourt and a no legit rim protector were issues regardless of the health of Omot/JOJ/AS, etc…but at full strength it’s definitely a clear step forward rather than status quo from last year, which is solid considering the complete roster retooling but perhaps disappointing because of the somewhat improved depth and talent of Stoja and Wilkinson.
I'm praying for two high-skill players to stay with us for the next year, and in addition to them, I hope Cal will recruit more above-skilled players via the transfer portal to put them at a high-level next year. Go Bears (Seaborg)
So proud of the effort our sturdy Golden Bears gave yesterday when the odds were certainly stacked against them. Shout out to DJ Campbell as he also put his team on his back and tried to get them into the next round. Even the announcers were truly impressed with our Bears. Go Bears!!
I was thrilled with how the Bears performed given the roster difficulties they had to face. Absent Gealer's almost miraculous three point shot we might have emerged as the winner.
I hope Madsen is able to address our weak spots through the portal and also manage to keep Andre and Wilkinson though I am sure there will be many suitors for their talents who will open their checkbooks.
What a fantastic performance from a team that just lost its two starting guards and about 25 points in scoring production. I was so proud of the way they fight and were finding ways to score against furd and its 7'1" post man from France. I hope all the lower classmen come back next season. If they do it'll be quite a "ride" and with Madson's super, constant enthusiasm, watch out ACC!
I do wonder what would have happened this year with a completely healthy roster.

Huge offseason for the program.
