Or, you need Jerome Randle-level ballhandling and shooting, or Wilkinson's explosiveness off the dribble. Recruit SG Jovani Ruff is listed at 6' 5". PG Semetri Carr at even 6'.
It's still progress. We had no guards last year and Tyson did everything. We have guards this year who are fine, but are smothered by any good P4 team. Hopefully next year shows further improvement.
I'll fondly recollect Cal's last game against the Blue Devils: a Jason Kidd-led upset over the defending champs in the 1993 NCAA tourney. Yup, that's Cal's only signature win in 30+ years. Ah, the resignation of being a Bears fan...
I was at that 1993 game as a member of the Cal Band my senior year. It's my favorite memory as both a band member and Cal sports fan. There have been plenty of other moments since then.
Cal also lost to Duke on 2nd round of 2010 NCAA tournament. I think there's one other game somewhere in there from a random non conference 4-team event.
Cal has had several signature wins. Off the top of my head, Justin Cobb and crew knocking off #1 Arizona.
I'm a broken record, but we need bigger p4 sized guards.
Really can't run TWO undersized guards at the same time. I guess Tucker has prototypical PG size but unfortunately not athletic enough to keep up.

I had to visit Cameron at least once. Mission accomplished. No regrets despite the rain. And we lost by much less than if expected!
Awesome! Were the Dukies hospitable?
Proper spelling is Dookies.
