Evan Weaver selected in the sixth round of the 2020 NFL Draft
Congrats to Weav!
The Unanimous First Team All-American and finalist for the Butkus award was selected by the Arizona Cardinals in the sixth round of the NFL Draft. Weaver led the nation in tackles this past season, finishing his Cal career with 412 tackles, 23.0 tackles for loss, 8.5 sacks and two interceptions, one of which was returned for the game-winning touchdown against Washington in 2018. Weaver played in 49 games for his career at Cal and led or co-led the team in tackles in 24 of those games.
