Former Cal Star Jaylen Brown was selected to his first All-Star game. He was selected to the reserves by the coaches after the starters were selected via fan vote. Jaylen received 1,401,416 votes in the initial fan vote which put him at 5th in the Eastern Conference Guards.
Jaylen is having a career year. 13th in the league in scoring at 25.7 points per game and 23rd in the league in Player Efficiency Rating at 22.05. He’s averaging career highs in points, assists, 3PT% (40.2!!!!), FG%, and FT%.

For years, I worried about his feel for the game. He was always uber athletic, but a lot of his points and affect on the game came off one-read situations. Over the last two years that has really changed, and he's making such good decisions with the ball in his hand.
Agreed about J.B. for MIP. I don't pay that much attention to the NBA, apart from the Warriors, but am always happy to see Jaylen on the court, or his occasional piece in the on-line Guardian.
