Golden Nuggets: Spring Break and Maps
Your favorite Golden Nuggets returns on a new day, same time.
Hello and welcome to Golden Nuggets, our weekly recap article where we try to highlight all the fun, funny, or interesting things you might have missed roughly over the last week across Bear Territory (the whole damn world of course). Think of it like a cheat sheet for small talk about Cal.

MAPS
It’s a bit of a light week this week what with Spring Break, the heat wave, and you know (gestures broadly), so I figured let’s kick things off with something light. And boy did the UC Berkeley Library deliver.
To celebrate Charter Day, the UC Berkeley Library highlighted the Earth Sciences and Map Library, showcasing a number of vintage maps showing campus and Berkeley over the last 160 years! In particular, a few librarians chose their favorite maps depicting campus for you to also walk down memory lane, or imagine life on campus in the 1910s. My personal favorite contains none other than Oski himself. Kind of.
