Really glad we kept Mark Fox around all year instead of ending this charade early.

GoldenSD81's avatar

Keeping him around really helped us get that #1 draft pick…

12-game and 16-game losing streaks in the same season. Wow!

Jimmy Chitwood's avatar

It seems mathematically impossible.

Jimmy Chitwood's avatar

Incomprehensible.

Fewer than Wilcox...yikes. Just, yikes.

Less wins than the football team managed -- in twenty more games.

GoldenSD81's avatar

I’m somewhat disappointed we even won that many games.

Jimmy Chitwood's avatar

Only took us shooting nearly 60% combined from both the field and beyond the arc to get those 3 wins.

Talk about outliers.

I'll be lmao when Fox comes back next year.

Mercifully there are no more games to lose. But still 1 coach to lose.

I think you'll like what you hear tomorrow then ;)

KetamineCal's avatar

We have to wait for tomorrow?

TD_24's avatar

haha this made me laugh more than it should've

Awwww, but I want to open my gift now!!

Did Fox resign in the post game? If not, why not? And if not, why did Knowlton not terminate him?

They should Mozilla on the tarmac

KetamineCal's avatar

Should have Mozilla'd in the locker room tunnel.

could be a good young core if the new coach can hold onto Newell, Okofor and Bowser

all teams need shooters, and Bowser looks like a shooter, with a balanced, high pull up jumper, and a smooth 3 point shot that he can get off quickly

We need a PG and a minimum of one big (haven't we been saying that for a while?, and the incoming freshmen commitment is not the answer)

Has Fox been fired yet?

GoldenSD81's avatar

The game is over, why hasn’t Fox been fired yet?

Ok. Finally the end. What started with the usual hope of a surprisingly good season, quickly revealed itself as the worst fiasco in my entire fan life as a Bear. Mercifully, it is over. I'm proud of the players who really did seem to hustle and grind and give it their best. Go Bears for them. For the coach, and now AD, let's see the changes that Fiat Lux would call upon happening. We are the sons and daughters of California, a beacon to the world for innovation, determination, and triumph. Let's turn this basketball program into something worthy of our history.

Highly and yet sporadically. Sort of like a consultant. Except I don't get to control my own contracts and business. Perhaps more like an investor. Yes, like an investor. Some years I get great dividends and the cash price is high, but I never really sell. Some years the dividends are totally absent and the price is bottom dwelling. But like the age-old investing wisdom dictates, I hold for the long term!

Whoooo! It’s over! Good God it’s over!

"Chancellor Christ? I know I'm the AD, but is it OK if someone else fires the MBB Coach... sorry, I forgot his name... Chancellor? Chancellor?"

I guess this means that Fox will get an extension tomorrow.

Alpha: I can relate! I'm married to a Bruin who gives me shit every time she looks at the sports page!

PawlOski's avatar

Remember when we were kinda sorta rivals?

GoldenSD81's avatar

Do you know how much crap I've had to listen to from SDSU folks about how bad Cal basketball is?

PawlOski's avatar

SDSU fans are the worst!
