Which is exactly why we need a robust competition in the QB room this year w/o an incumbent starter. Two units, IMO, during the Wilcox era that have lacked the competition needed to perform at a higher level are the QBs and OL. And from a distance it appears that "favorites" continue to play even when they are underperforming re: Daltos…

I always thought the “experienced” OL at Cal would be better than it was the last few years. Just because he’s a veteran doesn’t always mean he’s the better player....
