Cal Adds Charlotte offensive lineman Jordan Spasojevic-Moko
Initially a member of the Texas A&M Aggies and starter at Charlotte last season, the new transfer comes with past character concerns.
Jordan Spasojevic-Moko hails from Australia and for the first time in his football career, he’ll be headed back to see and play next to the Pacific Ocean. Spasojevic-Moko comes to Cal via his time at Charlotte, where he started every game at left guard. He spent three years at Texas A&M, where he joined them as a 4* JUCO and #1 OT from those ranks. In college he was recruited by Cal on top of other teams in 2021.
It has to be noted that on October 1st, 2023 Jordan was “charged with twice violating a protection order that was put in place last week by a Brazos County judge.” Those two charges were as follows:
According to arrest reports, the first violation occurred just after midnight Saturday when Spasojevic-Moko entered a Northgate bar and remained despite knowing the woman he was ordered to stay away from was also inside the establishment.
Bar staff confirmed to police that Spasojevic-Moko was aware the woman was there and he stayed inside to take shots with other customers. The woman also told police that Spasojevic-Moko taunted her by sticking out his tongue at her.
Spasojevic-Moko was arrested by College Station Police and taken to the Brazos County Detention Center.
The second charge was filed later in the day after Spasojevic-Moko reportedly called the woman multiple times from inside the jail. She told police he called her three times in an effort to get her to drop the charges.
He was afterwards suspended indefinitely from the Texas A&M Football program by head coach Jimbo Fisher and was not with the program after that. Spasojevic-Moko played a total of 132 snaps with Texas A&M in his three seasons, seeing most of that action in his 2022 season before suffering a season-ending injury.
At Charlotte, Spasojevic-Moko started ten games, accumulating 568 snaps. PFF graded him well ($) in his early season performances against playoff contender Indiana, and had good performances against Navy, North Carolina and James Madison. Spasojevic-Moko should add more competition to a crowded offensive line room this spring. Lots of work ahead for Famika Anae.
Wow...Wilcox is all in...Anae getting dogs that bite. Just stay away from the alcohol young man and you'll be fine. Next year going to be real fun or real bad...:)
I don't know about this.
