He's a great talent and one that would look great in Blue and Gold. Let's hope he leverage's all of this exposure to bring some more talent with him!

I do think that Martin is pretty committed to Cal (and he's the best QB we've had coming in since Goff). I'm not entirely sure what this "Premium Sports" is and what it's trying to stir up with Martin. Martin is visiting Berkeley the weekend of the 19th, so we'll probably hear something then.

Hope he stays in the fold....

Hmmmm, seems unlikely, as now that Michigan and Sparty are involved, it's only a matter of time before Saban or Sark come calling...but maybe we'll get lucky. Kid looks like a good one.

Wouldn't worry too much about Saban and Sark this cycle. Alabama picked up a 5* from Tennessee, and Texas actually picked up Maalik Murphy from Serra - Martin was his backup and transferred to Inglewood to get some playtime

I'm not so worried about Michigan State, that's not really an upgrade over Cal. They've had more recent success, but they're not really a competitive team in their own division either. Michigan/Harbaugh is definitely more worrisome because what they actually need is a QB.

Exactly, we shouldn't be losing a lot of players to East Lansing...Michigan is a different story entirely, as is Oregon, SC, and UCLA if they get involved...
