Caught TV this morning.

ACC noted that Virginia has never won on the West Coast.

Inside Cal Football had a good segment with Ron Rivera. Wilcox is coming up next, but I think I'll skip that part.

You’ve heard whatever he’s gonna say multiple times over the past decade.

Nothing good to say about the Bears chances here. I don't really want to see another Wilcox coached game.

The 'Hoos are on the trajectory the Bears should be on. Cal should be bitter and jealous and not let UVA continue that trajectory.

Apparently our long kicker is back but we lost another safety?

Hmmm, Justin Wilcox and his banged up roster vs yet another middling football program that has been up, down, way down, and then now has worked its way back way-up yet again, ALL during his 9 almost-mediocre years at Cal…very little of what we’ve seen says he beats a 7-1, top-20 team, even at home, but we’ll see. Maybe they get a break.

A few of my Cal buddies are done attending games until Wilcox is gone….I’m going to Sat for the rare day game, maybe to say my good byes to him tomorrow.

Anyone up for a meet up at Oski’s Village?

well, since the key question was never answered, according to wikipedia (RIP Bob)

Wahoos, often shortened to 'Hoos, is a nickname for sports teams of the University of Virginia (officially the Cavaliers), and more generally, a nickname for University students and alumni.

They played washington state last week, but I never heard “wahoos vs wazzu”

Are we just going to ignore that the Cavaliers were the rich royalists who supported King Charles the 1st, who wanted an absolute monarchy versus the more progressive Roundheads who wanted more power to Parliament and the people?

I hope the Virginia Cavaliers follow King Charles' Cavaliers in history. They lost.

You just don’t get this insight in most football forums. Thank you!
