With all the changes over the last week, this becomes a very important game for Cal. In order to attract upper level portal/HS talent, they need to show recruits they are a few key players away from getting to 9-10 wins. It can be done! Go Bears!

I'm going to cover the special teams in the defense article, but the long story short is that they have a freshman kicker who is reliable below 50 yards, minus a game or two where there was a couple bad snap/holds. The bigger risk on special teams is their ability to block points/kicks.
